Trumpet and Organ made accessible, truly the
King of Instruments meets the Instruments of Kings. A duo
committed to the enjoyment of music, both as performers and
for the hundreds who have heard them perform. Taking a
“friendly” approach to both stagecraft and musicianship,
both work as a team, intent on maximising the communication
between stage and auditorium.
Performances at home and abroad have
included venues as far a field as Norway, Denmark, Germany,
United Arab Emirates and across the pond to the USA. Home
performances have involved such prestigious venues as the
Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, St. Giles Cripplegate,
the cathedrals of York, Peterborough, Guildford, Lincoln,
Glasgow, Edinburgh and Winchester and venues closer to home
such as the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and churches
throughout the area including Alloa West and the Kirk of the
Holy Rood in Grangemouth.
Taking their open style of performance to
various venues continues to delight audiences, with the
opportunity to see the performers in a more intimate light.
Performances such as this have included works for trumpet
and piano/continuo in church halls and historic monuments.
